100 years of Leica: Witness to a century

「ライカの100年：世界を目撃し続けた1世紀」で制作したサウンドインスタレーションの記録映像です。黎明期に撮られた古写真に写る“環境の気配”を音で現像（再現）する試みや、歴代モデルのシャッター音を用いた立体音響を設計しました。音のない写真にどのような音を重ねるかの選択によって、そこに収められた時間軸がより鮮明に立ち上がる手応えを感じたプロジェクトでした。
This documentary video captures the sound installation created for “100 Years of Leica: A Century of Witnessing the World.”
The project explored the idea of sonically “developing,” or reconstructing, the atmospheric traces embedded within the very first photograph, while also incorporating immersive spatial audio built from the shutter sounds of Leica cameras throughout history. It became a powerful study in how the choice of sound layered onto a silent image can bring the sense of time contained within it into sharper focus.
